Progress WIP Spider Web Quilt

Made a little progress on this late last night.

Drawing of my newest WIP a spider web quilt with crazy piecing to form the stars. This quilt is from a pattern from the wonderfully inspiring book, Material Obsession Two by Kathy Doughty and Sarah Fielke. I am doing the crazy piecing with my favorite aqua to blues with pink and red dotted in, some silks and linen Japanese fabrics which I have been saving. Some of the crazy piecing is done, it is a fun project to work on because it is so random, I don't get bored.....

These are little quilts that I have made for doll swaps on flickr.I made sister quilts, one to send and one to keep. The embroidery was all inspired by the amazingly talented Cathy Gaubert!
